We are pleased to offer this beautifully detailed sculpture of Queen Elizabeth I, made of marble stone resin and hand-finished with a bronze patina.
At the death of Queen Mary, the Protestants were relieved by Queen Elizabeth, who was a Protestant sympathizer and allowed the Reformers to return and provided some margin of refuge. When they returned, they brought with them the Geneva Bible, a study Bible in a variety of sizes. Unlike the pulpit folios of the past, here was a hand-held copy with notes, maps, concordance, Roman font, and chapter and verse divisions.
Product Dimensions: 8" wide x 8" deep x 12.75" high
Product Weight: 18.3 lb.
Because each sculpture is hand-finished rather than mass-produced, there will naturally be some color variation and no two will be exactly alike. This is part of the nature and beauty of handmade objects, and should not be considered a flaw or defect. If you are attempting to match your previous sculpture purchases or have a particular look in mind (more or fewer highlights, for example), please contact us and we will be happy to provide photos of our current inventory so you can select the exact sculpture that will be shipped to you.
