This revision of the 1536 Tyndale New Testament was produced by Samuel Bagster and his sons Samuel Bagster the Younger and Jonathan Bagster in 1836 through his publishing firm Bagster & Sons. This New Testament was part of an effort by Samuel Bagster to produce English Bibles and polyglots in a convenient and inexpensive method for the public to enjoy. This effort saw many different works being produced including "The English Hexapla" and "The English Version of the Polyglot Bible" in 1816.
The 1836 Tyndale New Testament is printed on fine linen paper and bound with Yuma cherrywood leather with gold accents and lettering.
