This bust, made of marble stone resin and hand-finished with a bronze patina, depicts John Rogers who was an important contributor to the history of our English Bible.
Under the pseudonym “Thomas Matthews”, with the aid of Tyndale’s notes, the work of a true text English translation continued in 1537. John Rogers would be discovered as the true compiler and translator, and would be the first of 500 martyrs under the tyrannical rule of Queen Mary, whose Catholic allegiances led many Reformers to flee to Geneva for refuge.
Product Dimensions: 7.5" wide x 6.5" deep x 11" high
Product Weight: 11.55 lb.
Because each sculpture is hand-finished rather than mass-produced, there will naturally be some color variation and no two will be exactly alike. This is part of the nature and beauty of handmade objects, and should not be considered a flaw or defect. If you are attempting to match your previous sculpture purchases or have a particular look in mind (more or fewer highlights, for example), please contact us and we will be happy to provide photos of our current inventory so you can select the exact sculpture that will be shipped to you.
